The way to become a Rail Walk artist is by renting a studio. Currently there are two studios available which can be combined into one large one. Meet Our Artists

Sharon Forthofer

Sharon is painter who works in Oil and watercolor. She is a member of the Plein Air Painters of the Carolinas.

Cathy Matthews

Cathy paints with oil, watercolor, acrylics and alcohol inks. Her main goal is to produce work that makes her happy, yet still elicits a positive or emotional response from the viewer.

Keyth Kahrs

Keyth works primarily with acrylic paint on canvas. His work is inspired by his many travels.

Mona Moscardini

Mona is a photographer and fiber artist.

Tim works in acrylic on canvas.

Marietta Foster Smith

Marietta paints in watercolors and with oils. She is a signature member of the Watercolor Society of North Carolina.

Pamela Sofley

Pamela is a fiber artist who works with natural materials including gourds and vines. She is also a basket weaver and painter.
