Hello, I'm Mona

Photography is a way of capturing unique moments that speaks to Mona to relive a time and place that solidified memories!

About a year ago Mona started a new expression of color! Fiber Arts was a new way for her to express her love of color! As an independent Yarn Dyer, Mona has new way of playing with color that she did not have in her photography. She can enjoy mixing colors together to create unique products that she can feel as well as visual!
Born and raised in New York, Mona went to school in Asheville, NC and Barcelona Spain. After school in Spain she did a grand tour of Europe and finished in England. It was there that a friend who was a photographer took her under his wing and that was the birth of her love of form and color through a lens!
Married to her husband Gianni for 46 years, has two sons, four grandsons and lives in downtown Salisbury.
Mona and her husband are the owners of several businesses here in Salisbury….she and Gianni are semi-retired so it gives them time to travel and for Mona to pick up her camera again and express herself in new and interesting things that life as to offer.
